Jekko SPX532.2 Spider Crane, Compact and Battery-Powered
The Jekko SPX532.2 is a battery-powered spider crane that lifts up to 3.2 tonnes and reaches a tip height of 17m. A spider crane does the heavy lifting a cherry picker or spider lift cannot: it tracks into position, spreads its outriggers for stability, then lifts loads on a hook, winch or jib, out to a 14.8m radius with the hydraulic jib fitted.
It is built for confined, awkward sites. At just 770mm wide, it fits through a standard single doorway, and in pick and carry mode it can move loads of up to 400kg around site with 360 degrees of turret rotation. The lithium battery runs for over a full working day and can work while charging, with no fumes and non-marking tracks, so it is at home inside occupied buildings, shopping centres and heritage sites.
Hire it across Hampshire and the South of England for controlled lifting on indoor, sensitive and hard-to-reach sites, from glass and curtain walling to steel frames, timber, plant rooms and rooftop HVAC. These are the lifts that are too heavy for an access platform and too tight for a lorry crane.

Why Hire From Affordable Access Hire?
Before you book the SPX532.2, we will talk the job through with you. Lifting work lives in the detail: the weight, the radius, the access and the ground, so we would rather get it right up front and send the crane that suits the lift, not just the nearest one on hand.
We are a Hampshire team, and we know these machines. We will get it to site across the South, help you plan the lift safely, and be on the end of the phone if anything changes on the day.
For our clients, nothing is out of reach.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Jekko SPX532.2 spider crane used for?
The SPX532.2 is a tracked spider crane for controlled lifting on tight or sensitive sites. It is used for glass and curtain walling, steel and timber frames, plant and machinery moves, rooftop HVAC and general lifting in tight or indoor spaces. With up to 3.2 tonnes of capacity, it handles loads that are too heavy for an access platform.
What is the difference between a spider crane and a spider lift?
A spider crane lifts loads. A spider lift lifts people. The SPX532.2 tracks into position, sets its outriggers and lifts materials on a hook, winch or jib, up to 3.2 tonnes. If you need to get a person up to work at height instead, that is a job for our spider lift hire or cherry picker hire.
How much can the Jekko SPX532.2 lift, and how high and far does it reach?
The SPX532.2 lifts up to 3200kg (3.2 tonnes) at close radius, with a maximum tip height of 17m and a maximum working radius of 14.8m using the hydraulic jib. As with any crane, the safe load reduces as the radius increases, so tell us the weight and the reach, and we will confirm it against the load chart.
Can the Jekko SPX532.2 be used indoors?
Yes. This is the battery version, powered by a lithium pack, so it runs fully electric with no fumes and non-marking tracks for indoor and emission-sensitive work. It runs for over a full working day on a charge and can work while charging, which suits long jobs inside occupied buildings, atriums and glasshouses.
How narrow an access can the Jekko SPX532.2 fit through?
At its narrowest, the SPX532.2 is 770mm wide, so it tracks through a standard single doorway and into tight spaces on site. Once inside, it can pick and carry loads of up to 400kg around site, with 360 degrees of turret rotation for positioning.
Do you supply an operator with the Jekko SPX532.2, or is it self-drive?
We hire the machine only, so you provide the operator. A spider crane is lifting equipment, which means it needs a trained, certified operator and a safe system of work, usually a lift plan and an appointed person for anything but the simplest lift. If you are not sure what your job needs, talk to us and we will point you in the right direction before you book.
